Did you know World Day for Safety and Health at work is marked universally on April 28th? Just to remind you of things you need to know about health and safety in the workplace.
It is the duty of employers to provide a safe place of work for its employees. Anything with the potential to cause harm must be moved away from employees totally or a system of protection must be created and implemented.
Workplace and work equipment must be such that it does not cause harm or reduce the quality of life of employees. Harm is not just physical injury but every other thing that has a potential to lead to ill-health of staff.
