At the fourth edition of the School Safety Summit, Dare Akinfosile and Babalola El-Imam taught a First Aid Masterclass on common first aid emergencies and how educators can handle them.

We had an interesting panel discussion at the fourth edition of the School safety Summit with Abike Awojobi, Bolanle Edwards, Babalola El-Imam and Dare Akinfosile. They shared insights on maintaining school buses, role of parents and teachers in ensuring child safety and they busted some myths on first aid.

In the first part of the fourth edition of the annual School Safety Summit, we had short speeches and training from our invited guests. The theme was “First Aid and Casualty Assessment for Educators”. The DG, Lagos State Safety Commission, Lanre Mojola spoke on the importance of the theme and the work the Commission is doing in Lagos State. The Convener, Ugochi Obidiegwu trained on preparing schools for a post-covid school resumption. The Keynote speaker, Funmi Adegbola, CEO, Combined Training Solutions spoke on First Aid as a Business Critical component.
